How do you replace the headlight bulb located on a 1990 Jeep Cherokee?

Remove the screws holding headlight door (the chrome or painted reflector panel) in place. This should include the screws located in the side/corner light panels.

Remove the screws from the retaining ring to release the hold on the headlamp.

Pull the headlamp forward and disconnect the lamp socket.

Replace the headlamp and restore the fittings in reverse order.

The circuit breaker for the headlights of a 1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo is built into the headlight switch. If the circuit is overloaded it will act the same as if it had a short in it.

From under the hood behind the headlight you can see where the bulb snaps in un snap it pull it out and there's your bulb, get the number off of it and replace , cost about $10 , I did this about two months ago...
