there is not a ignition module on these like earlier fords, no distributor-cam and crank sensors deliver information to the ECU and it determines spark by the feedback from these sensors. the ECU is located directly above the drivers feet, behind the panel.
ICM is located underneath the LH front shock absorber strut cover cup in engine compartment.
On the steering column

this is the aluminum square box located on drivers side fenderwell above tire and has three screws which are located inside drivers fenderwell
You have to replace it.
Clipped onto the mirror, the black box that hangs there.
