I am assuming you have a CPI (Central Port Injection) spider system. You need to remove the top plenum chamber to gain access to the CPI. This unit also contains the fuel pressure control valve. The CPI uses a single central injector connected to six "poppet" lines. You must separately squeeze the two tabs of each poppet line to remove it from its singular port placement. You may need to use carburetor cleaner to assist it the removal since many of them may be slightly stuck. If you break a tab on removal or replacement, you must then replace the line. Unfortunately, you may have to purchase the entire unit at one time. If yours do not break, remove each of the lines (noting the small o-ring) and spray carburetor cleaner into each separate line to clean it out. The "poppet" end should spray like a good sprinkler head.
On the Vortec the computer does it all.
