1. Open the trunk and reach behind/above the license plate to find the backside of the two licence plate lights.
2. Turn them each about an 1/8 of a turn to remove the light and an associated plastic housing. Remove the lights from the plastic housings (this was difficult ... apparently they get stuck with age). Replace the old lights with new ones purchased at an auto parts store.
3. Put the plastic housings with new lights back into from where they came.
to wire the license plate lights you must have lights and wire them to the scooter.
there should be 2 screws above license plate, take the off piece pops off and replace lights
No, the license plate light is wired in with the rear tail lights, not the brake lights.
Open the trunk and look for the wires that connect to the license plate lights. You should see a plastic piece that hooks into a socket. Simply grab the plastic piece and turn and the lights should come right out. The lights may be behind a paneling.
Open up your trunk and look up above the license plate. It is held in by screws. undo the screws adn unit drops down.
Raise the trunk lid...you will see the lights on each side of the license plate...use Phillips screw driver to remove and replace bulb. Just did this takes about 2 minutes.
yes 2002 Ford Focus do have 2 lights on license plate
The license plate lights are not in a separate fuce by it seft. They are the same as your side marker lights. So, check if your side marker lights are working and if they are them is a bad license plate light bulb.
On top of the license plate is a clear plastic lens with 2 screws in it. Take it off. Then a bulb slides into the holder, then replace the lens. There are 2 bulbs. One on each side.
You need to remove the liner on the trunk lid. That will give you access to the license plate lights housing. Remove the sockets by twisting 1/4 turn and replace bulbs. Size for bulbs are 2825
there are two spots above the license plate where the lights go on each one there should be a spot where you can push the cover in and then just pull out at an angle
That would be the lights that illuminate the rear license plate.
