I dont know about your 3.5 engine but mines holds 6qts. I HAVE A 3.5 V6 OIL PAN HAS A PLUG 14MM THE OIL FILTER,REMOVE ROUND BLACK COVER INSIDE IS A PAPER FILTER,THERE IS A TOOL TO REMOVE COVER THAT YOU CAN GET AT A PARTS STORE V6 HOLDS 5QTS. (GREG)
