How do you replace the passenger side view power mirror on a 2002 Ford ZX2...meaning the whole unit - not just the actual mirror?

i recently changed the passenger side view mirror assembly on my wife's 2001 Ford Escort ZX2. It should be pretty similar. you have to take the whole passenger door panel off. Pop off the little circle plastic screw covers and unscrew the screws. There are also 2 plastic screws that just pop out on the side of the door panel. Once you have the door panel off, you need to remove a plastic triangle piece on the inside of the door, covering the mirrors screws. It pops right off. There is a piece of foam behind that. There are 3 or 4 screws behind there that you need to remove. That should be it. You can almost get to the plastic piece covering the mirror screws without removing the door panel if you have the right tools. Try it and see first. It might save you some time. Good luck.
