1. remove the wheel 2. remove the two bolts holding the caliper on and "hang" the caliper up and out of the way, careful not to pinch the brake hose. (use a piece of scrap wire or cord) 3. remove the rotor, it may have two spring metal clips holding it to two of the studs, just cut those clips off, you won't need them in the finish. 4. disconnect the speed sensor, careful when you unplug it, wiggle it a bit so you don't break any wires, it may have a plastic lock on it, just gently pry the tab back. 5. remove the center axle nut and the three bolts on the back of the hub. 6. place a three point (it comes with the slide hammer tool) adapter onto three of the wheel studs and finger tighten three lug nuts down so it is snug. 7. using the slide hammer, hook it to the adapter, smack it backwards and you will pull the hub and bearing assembly off of the spline. 8. make sure you bought a GOOD replacement, about $200, the cheap ones go bad in 3 months. 9. install the new one and reverse order, re-assemble the nuts and bolts and connector. don't forget the connector or you won't have any ABS on that wheel. i like to use anti-sieze compound on all of the hardware, nuts, bolts and such. and when you tighten the lugs, tighten them in a "torque" sequence. (opposite each other). when you tighten the assembly nuts make sure you don't over tighten them, anti-sieze compound will let them turn easier and thus make it easy to snap them off if you are Joe or Josie Hercules or so. also, if you don't have an impact driver you must remove the axel nut FIRST. Rent a breaker bar and some axel nut sockets for the impact driver. It's a normal thread so twist it to the left with the wheel on the ground (otherwise it will just turn the wheel). the three bolts on the back may have been put in with thread lock, so they will also need a breaker bar, but they will come out regularly, (18mm) for the caliper bolts. therre are an additional three holes drilled in the hub assembly, if your slide hammer hub is too small, you can use three 3/8 x 3 bolts with washer and nuts through these holes and then you can use the slide hammer. When you tighten the assembly, make sure the rubber "O" ring is still in the bracket (part left on the car) and that it is clean and lube it with some soap. push the new hub as far as you can onto the spline and start to tighten the three bolts for the assembly. put the axel hub on too but tighten it only as far as you can until the three bolts are tightened all the way. Tighten them in such a sequensce so that at no time is the new assembly going on in an angle, tighten a little at a time each one in rotation. i use a bar between the lug bolts to hold the hub while i tighten the axle hub. once the three bolts are tight all the way and you have the axle hub as tight as it will go, then put the caliper and tire back. put the wheel back on the ground and tighten the axle hub to it's final torque.

Will BMW rims fit Chevy blazer?

You can replace Chevy Blazer 1997 and similar models with BMW's 7 series rims, and vis versa. I had 740IL rims from my cousins car on my Chevy 1997 Blazer 4x4 for 3 years and they worked great. I can only assume the brake parts on the GM cars are German made components, and this was why. No need to modify anything. They go right on and are a perfecr fit.
