You have Hyundai redesign the dang thing. What a hassle this spring clip is. A picture would be great cause when I got my big hands in there the clip went flying.
Push spring clip forward and while pushing turn it towards the right. It should fall away to allow you to remove the bulb.
unplug electrical connector remove rubber boot unclip spring and swing spring back. pull out old halogen bulb from bracket. replace with new bulb (not toching glass) swing back spring and clip to housing replace rubber boot plug in connector Test headlights...finished
Open the hood. On the back of the headlight there is a spring clip, pull this over the bulb so you can take the bulb(still plugged in ) out of the headlight itself. unplug the bulb. Plug in the new one, being carefull to avoid touching the clear glass, use the bottom plastic and the top blacked out part to plug the bulb in. Return the bulb to the headlight replace the spring clip and there you go.
Bulb replacementTo replace the headlight bulb you have to disconnect the connector that plugs into the bulb, then you have to undo the metal clip with a screw driver and after you pull the clip down the bott will come off, then you pull the headlight out .
Push the spring towards the headlight and slide it downward gently. You should be able to remove the bulb.
You can change it yourself.. not really that hard.. Open the hood then look on the engine side of the headlight. There is a black cover that removes by moving the clip. Then remove the wire from the bulb. next, there is a metal clip. It is a little hard to get the clip off but once you get it off it is very easy.. Just remove the clip then take out old bulb and replace.
Type your answer here... Look in your owner's manual. It will explain, with diagrams, exactly how to change all bulbs. Usually, there is a round black "cap" behind the headlight. Unscrew this counter-clockwise, undo the metal spring clip holding the bulb in. Pull off the connecting wire (they can be stubborn!). Connect the wire to the replacement bulb without touching the glass with bare hands (if necessary wear latex gloves). Insert the replacement bulb, fit the spring clip and replace the cap - job done.
Pull electrical spade connector from back of bulb Remove rubber cover Bulb is held in by a spring clips on either side - feel for the clip underneath and to each side, press towards the centre and pull out Remove old bulb and put in new. Replace spring clip, rubber seal and spade connector. It may be easier to undo the two bolts that hold in the headlight first, certainly in the 06 model, the fuse box is a little close to the headlight for easy access.
I just posted this for another user Mine's a 96 corolla but hopefully it will be the same. Turn off ignition switch and headlight switch. Open hood. Unplug the connector (wiggle it if its tight) Turn the plastic cover counterclockwise and remove the cover. Remove the rubber cover. Release the bulb retaining spring (this is not a curly spring, its a wire clip that goes across the back of the bulb. Remove bulb. Align new bulb by the tabs around the edge. Clip spring back in place.....

Use a vanity mirror and a torch so you see what you are doing.
puch top of clip in and slightly to the left, it will then unclip and hinge downwards, releasing the bulb.
