The upper radiator hose will lead you to the thermostat housing as described above. It is much easier to access if you remove the distributor which sits above the thermostat. Mark your plug wires if you unplug them.
Follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the engine block. The point where the hose connects to the engine is where the thermostat is typically located.
