It is located at the engine end of the upper rad hose. When replacing it make sure the spring goes toward the enigne.
When you service the cooling system.
remove the 2 bolts that hold the thermostat housing to the intake manifold which the upper radiator hose attaches to the housing then just pull the thermostat out and replace.
The Thermostat on the jimmy is located on the engine end of the top radiator hose. Just simply find the hose on the top right hand side of your radiator and follow it to the engine block.
its located beneath the air intake on the front side of the motor
The thermostat is inside the housing, it is on the motor where your upper rad hose connects to, hope this helps
its such a cheap part I would just replace it... Check the temperature of the upper radiator hose. If it isn't hot, the thermostat is probably stuck shut.
follow the large hose leaving the radiator it will end at the thermostat top center front of the engine 2 bolts off it goes
Should be located in a removable housing at the engine end of theupper radiator hose Drain about 1 gallon of coolant from the radiator Remove this housing Note how thermostat is installed Clean both surfaces Replace thermostat and gasket Replace housing Re-fill coolant slowly to prevent an airlock Start engine and look for leaks Run engine to normal operating temperature with heater on Re-check coolant level
the thermostat should be located on the engine side of the top radiator hose, new rubber seal is important and no gasket sealer is needed.
follow the top radiator hose back to the block where it mounts to the motor there should be a cover under that is the thermostat two bolts hold it down
kick it.
the thermostat is under the thermostat housing follow the top radiator hose to the block two bolts hold it in place
