there is no timing belt on a Ford Explorer If you mean the serpentine belt, use a socket to take the tension off of the tensioner pully wheel. There should be a diagram under the hood. After the tension is removed, you can remove the belt. Use the diagram to correctly reposition it. It runs the AC, Alternator, Fan, Water pump etc.
The 1999 Cadillac Seville does not have a timing belt, it has a timing chain.
It does not have a belt, it has a chain.
Replace the timing belt at least every 100,000 miles.
i need to see the diagram fir the timing belt
If it had a timing belt, you would replace it at 90,000 miles. But this engine has a timing chain and does not have a belt.
there is nota timing belt, it is timing chain and you don't have to replace, it last forever
Timing Belt. Mine just went out. You might have to replace the tensioners too. :(
You do not need to replace the timing chain because there is no timing belt at all on Ford Taurus. It has a timing chain.
I have a 1998 300 CL and has a timing belt I just had it replace you need to replace yours ASAP before it breaks.
Just had my timing belt changed at the dealer which included new water pump and belt. $657.00
