Usually, Its attached to the Fan. You need to Remove the Serpentine belt, and remove the Fan, Its tricky cause the fan moves, I usually get good results with a crowbar, Drain the Radiator fluid, and remove the hoses connected to Water pump. There may be a pipe connected to the old water pump and a sealer ring you need to attach to the new pump so make sure you keep it, then remove the Bolts connecting the pump to the engine. Clean the rest of the gasket off the space in the engine and replace new pump in the same place, attach the bolts, Reattach the hoses, Fan assembly, Belt and refill with fluid.

Drain the radiator. disconnect the top radiator hose from the engine. Remove the water inlet that the hose was hooked to. The thermostat is in the housing. Replace the gasket when replacing the thermostat.

Drain the water from the cooling system. Remove the water hose from the heater core. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new heater core.
