Using a crescent wrench, pull up on serpentine belt tensioner and remove belt from water pump. remove pulley, remove bolts in a circular pattern around face of pump, and then the entire guts of the pump will come out including the impeller. The pump housing stays with block. Clean surfaces install new gasket with replacement and reinstall pulley and belt. Not too hard actually
