Get the proper hose from advanced(where I have the best price and service). Hose clamps that fit the new hose. Start by removing the lowest hose end by the wipers. Hold it high to not loseing fluid when detached. Drain fluid into a clean bottle. Then remove the end by tfluid tank. Replace with new hose and clamps. Refill with new fluid or the old if clean.
2004 Chevy Cavalier windshield washer fluid reservoir retaining bolts. Remove the windshield washer fluid supply tube. The windshield washer fluid reservoir will come free.
you will have to get to were the fluid resivor is for the washer. it will be located at the bottom of the resivor. all you do is pull on it to relese it from the resivor.then unhook the tube runnin to it and replace with your new pump..
It is very easy ... Open the hood ... there is a long cover over the washer fluid tubing that connects to the nozzle .. so you have to take this cover off ... separate nozzel from tube . Insert new nozzle from outside of car . connect to tubing .. replace panel/cover and you are done !!!
R/window wiper and washer are two separate things. Washer is simply a pump that squirts fluid onto window. First, have you checked the washer fluid level? How about the fuse? When you push the washer button can you hear the pump running? If not, possible bad pump, fuse or button. If so, maybe the pump is clogged or fluid delivery tube is plugged or disconnected. Hope that helps.
Passenger side. Directly below the filler tube. Behind the head light.
This is pretty easy. The pump is located at the bottom of the windshield wiper reservoir. You have to take the tube off of the side of the motor and then disconnect the motor from the bottom of the pump.
It's on the front drivers side of the engine area. It's actually inside the fender and has a "tube" where you add washer fluid.
In relation to the washer fluid, check if the fluid tube is not twisted or blocked in anyway.
on my 1993 GXE the winsheild washer fluid reservoir is under the hood near the front of engine by antfreeze reservoir the fill tube is on the passenger side near the coolant reservoir. access to the "tub" itself and the washer motor/pump is from the passenger side front wheel well.
Try replacing the windshield washer pump. There should be two pumps located on the washer reservoir. Simply unplug the electrical connector, pull the fluid tube off, lift them out. Put the new ones in the same place as the old ones. Place the fluid tube back and reconnect the electrical connector. The parts are pretty cheap about 15 bucks each from Autozone. Give it a shot. Overall it should take less than five minutes. Good luck.
The rear washer gets its fluid from the same reservoir located in the engine compartment, it is simply piped to the rear via a long hose. If the rear washer doesn't work there are three possibilities: the tube is blocked - the spray head is obstructed with crud - or the rear pump has failed. I have a 2000 and just recentlymy windshield washer pump failed.
Is there liquid in the washer fluid reservoir? If not, add fluid. If there is fluid in the tank, is the pump working? If fluid comes out one nozzle and not the other, it is. If not, it may not be. Listen to see if you can hear the pump when you activate the sprayer. If not, check the fuse, wiring, or the pump itself. If the pump is working, check the hoses underhood for clogs or a broken connection. All the washer hoses are usually push-on hoses on plastic barbs and they may come loose or the barb may break. If the hoses look fine, the nozzle itself may be clogged. Clean or replace it.
