Is there liquid in the washer fluid reservoir? If not, add fluid.
If there is fluid in the tank, is the pump working? If fluid comes out one nozzle and not the other, it is. If not, it may not be. Listen to see if you can hear the pump when you activate the sprayer. If not, check the fuse, wiring, or the pump itself.
If the pump is working, check the hoses underhood for clogs or a broken connection. All the washer hoses are usually push-on hoses on plastic barbs and they may come loose or the barb may break.
If the hoses look fine, the nozzle itself may be clogged. Clean or replace it.
Windshield washer spray nozzles, or just simply nozzles.
It is in the bottom of the plastic tank that you put the washer fluid in. Remove tank and look at the bottom of it and you will see how it comes out.
Have you tried filling the wash fluid reservoir?
A Dodge Dakota does not have a rear washer fluid reservoir. On most newer vehicles the washer fluid for the rear windshield comes from the washer fluid reservoir from under the hood. If you are not getting wahser fluid to the rear windshield it could be that the line is frozen or clogged with dirt or the line could be disconnected somewhere.
get a sewing needle/saftey pin and put into the washer jet (where the water comes out)and move it a small bit then try the washer, keep moving it till your happy.
Need to check the pump in the bottom of the reservoir, It's stopped up or just not working.
It should just come out of the bottom of the washer bottle, take the hose off it and pull the washer bottle out and you should be able to see how it comes off.
probably in the tank...........
Fuse might be blown . If not , you might find a windshield washer motor at an auto parts store.
Take a needle and clean out the ports wherever the fluid comes out. You might also want to check the windshield washer fluid reservoir for accumulated debris/sediment. It is sometimes necessary to remove and flush the lines carrying washer fluid to the spray nozzles.
No, all the fluid comes out of the same reservoir under the hood. No, all the fluid comes out of the same reservoir under the hood.
Be sure what you are looking at is the battery symbol, it may be the windshield washer fluid level indicator. I replaced the battery and the light kept coming on; then I looked in the manual and the indicator was washer fluid low.
