First, remove the windshield wipers. Then you can remove the cowel just in front of the windshield. There are a bunch of screws connecting it to the firewall. Once you remove this, close the hood. Now everything is easily accessible and the rest is intuitive.

Replace everything by using the opposite procedure.

The 1993 Mercury Villager takes 22" replacement windshield wiper blades on both sides front.

They are both located under the plastic wiper cowl in the area between the hood and windshield. Remove the wipers (if you aren't sure how to do that you pull the tabs about 3/4 of the way out) then you remove the screws in the wiper cowl. Once it is removed you should see both the wiper motor and control bar.

The most common cause that windshield wipers stop working is a blown fuse. The windshield wiper motor may need to be changed is also common.

chances its not the motor but the wiper module board located on the wiper motor. just remove the wiper motor and the module board is connected to it.

The 1993 Geo windshield wiper fuse can be found in the fuse box. The exact location of the windshield wiper fuse will be listed on the inside cover of the fuse box.

Da 1993 was da slower cherokee. or.......you may have a defective wiper arm or a wiper motor that is about shot. Usually the motor either works or it does not though. Check the motor and wiper arm drive train for garbage that might be hanging it up around the hood and under. If it is too restricted the fuse will blow. Who knows, with Jeeps maybe even your windshield will catch on fire eventually. I would recommend either driving slower, driving in less rain, or fixing it.

I have had none yet but am looking at replacing my mototr since it seems to be lacking power.

you should check your electrical connection at the "pump" terminal if there's no power then trace that wire back and see where the problem is.

Under the hood, beneath the driver side wiper.

The 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee takes 20" replacement windshield wiper blades on both sides front and an 11" or 12" rear wiper blade.

try disconnecting the wiper motor if problem still happens disconnect the wiper switch, if that does'nt work check your wiper control box, a fuse will only blow if there is too much current drawing on it or dead short to earth. try and follow the wires back from the wiper motor check for any damaged wires

Pull the rubber cap off of the arm where it meets the car, near the bottom of the windshield. Next get an appropriate sized socket wrench to fit the nut that is under the rubber cap. Take the nut off. Take old wiper arm off and replace with new one. Repeat above steps in reverse order.

After 1985, the wiper is a panoramic style - one big wiper. The motor assembly is located under the air intake grille, below the wiper. Remove the wiper arm - small plastic cover, bolt(s) underneath, slide off arm. Then undo the bolts/screws holding the grille on, some of which are UNDER the rubber surround - lift it up to expose them. There is an electrical connector box - disconnect this. There is a bracket that supports the wiper assembly, undo one bolt, then it should slide out/down into the heater air intake (below the wiper assembly) and then UP and out. At this point, its best to find a working one from an auto wrecker - the motor etc. from Mercedes is rather expensive!

If your windshield wipers still aren't working after replacing them and checking the fuses, you may need to check the electrical wiring. This is best done by a certified auto mechanic.
