How to Reset Maintenance Warning Light on a 2008 Toyota 4Runner
If the power has been disconnected: To normalize the window 1. push down on the power window switch and lower the window 1/2 way. 2. pull up on the switch until the window closes and hold switch for a second. Per the owners manual pg 24. (2003 4 Runner)
have you tried pulling the EFI fuse
Type your answer here... Hello how do you reset the check engine light on a 2003 Toyota 4runner. Thanks
There is no inertia switch. It will either be the relay under the hood or a short in power to the fuel pump.
unhook the battery for about a minute or so, then reconnect!
Reset the left rear door power window by removing the power window motor and connect both the motor and the power window switch to the vehicle's wire harness. Turn the ignition switch on and it should be able to reset.
There is no resetting it. Either your circuit won't close (could be due to a broken switch, broken or shorted wiring, a bad relay, etc.) or the window motor is toast.
Check your owner's manual. It's in there. So easy, I just can't remember for now.
Power the window all the way down then hold it for five seconds after its completely down. then power the window all the way up and hold it for an additional five seconds. The convertible top should be up during this window 'reset'.
Turn the 4Runner on, make sure that you are looking at the "odometer" miles and not the "Trip" miles. Turn the 4Runner off, hold the "reset" button, turn the 4Runner On and the "MAINT" light will blink 3 times. Release the "reset" button and the light will turn off. This worked great for me but the light flashed 5 times then went off. 2007 SR5 4WD 16,000 miles recently purchased from dealer hopefully there is nothing else wrong/ FYI the manual told me that the maint light is for oil change.
fill all 5! tires to the proper pressure, even the spare will transmit and trip the light
