hold down the mileage reset then turn ignition on and until the InsP turns to ---- let the reset go and walla you can start the car or turn the ignition off This works on my Corsa, think the same instrument panel is in the astra Not sure if anyone knows but you can reset your service inspection lamp on your Vectra C, Astra H and Corsa C & D with out the aid of any diagnostic tools. Simply press the trip reset button on the dash at the same time press the brake pedal then switch on the ignition, keep brake and trip pressed for 10 to 12 seconds and hey presto its done!! if the astra h has not got fog lights fitted they can be added it involves some tech2 work to enable them change the light switch for one with front fogs on and if you dont have the wiring in place you ll need to wire into the UEC and fuse and relay to power check out the astra h forums for a how to

There are a number of sites where one can find information on Astra H car specifications. One site that is very good is the "ultimatespecs" website which offers specs for different models and different years.
Start with replacing the bulb.

The function is to change color. This happens when all the H+ ( or H3O+) from the acid has been neutralized, an indicator in the sample will change
Just a FYI for everyone. The following reset my service computer on my 2007 VW Passat 2.0T: 1) Hold down the wrench button (right hand of the trip reset button). 2) While holding the wrench button, turn on the ignition. 3) The computer will now show something like: 'Service Now'. 4) Release the wrench button. 5) Now, press and release the the min (right hand of the h button). 6) Turn off the ignition. 7) Done. The service computer is now officially reset. ENJOY :)
