Unfortunately for us, we're in the same hot water as you. For us, the allegations are not true and have always been cured (noise levels and carpetting), but management will avoid confrontation with us whether or not we request mediation and inspection.
How we're handling this is we've hired an attorney to write us a Cease & Desist letter (costs around $200-300) to management. If you feel you've 'cured' and have no further requirements, but still are being placed under duress by management/landlord, heed my advice.
