Sorry, only a scanner can retrieve trouble codes on OBDII vehicles.....
If you turn the igition on-off on-off on-off in less than 5 secs, the check engine light will flash the codes.
the battery and transmission are broken Have the system checked for trouble codes.
There are trouble codes in the computer systems. You need to have the PCM, ABS, etc checked for codes to know possible causes.
No. Not like pre-1996/Use an OBDII scanner
Either with a scan tool, or by cycling the key on, off, on, off, on and reading the number that comes up in the odometer.
You need a scan tool.
There are hundreds, if not thousands of possible codes.
Scanner,is the only means to re-set trouble codes quickly, although after 30 engine starts the Controller will automaticly "erase"the code(s) if it doesn't see a problem with that circuit anymore...
1. put the key in theignition. 2.turn it to the on position where all the lights come on. 3.then turn it 3 time off and on and what. that should do it.
