Disconnect the two heater hoses that go through the firewall. Use a piece of pipe or a "funny pipe" union that you can pick up at a sprinkler parts distributor. Use a couple clamps to hold them to the union. Alternatively, you can get two funny pipe plugs and clamp them into place. There are plenty of ways to bypass the heater core. You only need to somehow keep the coolant from leaking. Another option would be to put a "ball valve" in line with the heater hose, that way you could have heat next winter.
