to set the timing on your Dodge ram look at your distibutor cap and on the left side you will see a nut that is at the base of your distributor stem when you loosen this nut you can turn you your entire distributor one way or the other all it takes is about 1/2 degree turn and then tighten it back down and try again till you get your motor running smoothly....
