You can't...it's electonically controlled by the computer. If you try to advance or retard the distributer the computer makes up for it. Find TDC...put your distributer in. Make sure you time it from that point around etc... Then use an inductive timing light to see where the timing mark is. You should be around 6-10 degrees BTDC.

timing should be set at 10 degrees BTDC. be sure you unplug the spout connector before you adjust the timing.

you cannot adjust the ignition timing on this car. a manual will help if you need to set cam timing
NO. A timing light will not work on that engine. You must have an obdII engine scanner to set the timing on that year.
