pull the plug on bottom of engine and line the lines up to set tdc, on left side of 4 wheeler, the left cam has a 15 on it and you line that up with the gold key on chain.......then you count 15 links on and like it up to the 15 on the right cam and let tensioner off

∙ 15y agoyou want to set your engine at TDC then take your EX camshaft place it on the front side of the motor you want to notice the numbers 1 2 3 line the number 1 up to the top(horizontally) with the top of the head so that the number 3 faces the IN cam place the chain on the cam so that it is tight in the front down to the crankshaft count 15 pins to the left and mark it with something take the IN cam and place it in the head and make it so the number 3 is on that 15th pin number 2 should point to number 3 on the EX cam and make sure you keep the slack tight so that it is loose were the tensioner goes then install the tensioner
