How do you splitscreen on minecraft for xbox 360?

You must have an HDMI cable and set your Xbox settings to 720p or higher. Notch might come out with a patch sometime soon, though. I wish it didn't have this bug, otherwise my brother would let me play (lol).

You must have a HDMI cord pluged into your HDTV to play splitscreen. If you have a two controllers on then when you start a game you will be asked to sign in as a guest on the second controller. a player can also drop in while you are playing with another controller by pressing start when prompted on the screen.

Make sure that you have two controllers, open a previous world or new world, when it is done loading you should see a little green box that says, "PRESS START TO JOIN", which is talking to the second player, press the start button at that time!

NOTE: (You may need to have two Xbox Live accounts or make the second player a guest!!! )

You must have the Xbox connected up via the HD cable, or it will not work.

All you have to do is make sure you have two controllers then you go to a previous world or new world, and wait for it to load the map, then it should say PRESS START TO JOIN and your friend should press the start button.

to get on splitscreen on minecraft you start off as if you where a single player and if a ny other controllers EXPECT YOURS is on then in the middle of the screen it would say something like " add another " or " press start to join " and you would do that with the controller who wants to play and you sign into your account and its started :)

If you want a line down the center and one gets a left and right you pause your game and go into options ....

Plug in another controller during the creation of the map and sign in...only works if you have a hd tv.

You also need to have a HDMI cable and set your Xbox to at least 720p.

Male your game either offline or online/invite only. Then have whoever you wanna play with press start on another controller.
