How do you stop the signal indicator sound on 1999 Tahoe stop It comes on periodically while driving and not even using the signal for turns?

Have your "multi-function switch" checked. It is all one piece with the turn signal lever arm and connects inside the steering column. The copper contacts inside the switch get worn and the copper particles
combine with the grease inside the switch to form an electrical "short"
across multiple contacts. Remove the switch, gently pry open the casing,
clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner and reapply appropriate
grease..Fixed mine this way and saved $95...My turnsignals were "clicking" ALL the time.
