i just did the speakers in my 91 explorer and all i did was take the one screw out of the top right corner pulled down on the panel til i seen the first little grommet give way inside the door panel then i took a flat head screw driver and pryed it off once i had it off i replaced the grommets it left behind put them in the door panel it self and then push it back together......this might be the caveman way of doing things but it worked for me
