A "dually" is a truck (or some of the dodge sprinter and freightliner vans) with a heavy duty rear end and 4 wheels on the rear axle alone. Dually's are better for towing and can take a heavier load compared to regular rear ends.
no dually means two wheels in the back in less you take one off each side and the truck would be a dually but without all six wheels
the same way youde change them on any other truck, the only difference is you take the outer wheel off first, then unbolt the hub that's hold that wheel on, then unbolt the next wheel, then its business as usual, i just got the same truck and was wondering but it really isn't that difficult once you take the wheels off
As a Gm Tech, i have done two of these. They take a couple of days to do. It incolves taking out the evaporator core for the ac, and the whole heater box. Not a back yard job
I would go to a local mechanic or a Chevrolet dealership to take the truck bed off a 2001 Silverado. It is very dangerous to do this process on your own.
24 quarts for a full flush
take off center cover, remove large nut then use wheel puller to remove steering wheel
Replacing disc brakes can be a tricky task. First, you must make sure they are cool enough to touch, then bleed them and take apart the brakes. You can put new pads and discs on to finish the job.
For my 99 sliverado 1500 z71 it took about an hour or less. Get the correct tools, drop the tank, slide the fuel pump in and reattach the tank.
give or take about 36gals. if you have two tanks one holds 16.5 the other 19.5
