Remove the retaining cover from your factory stereo. Remove the factory stereo retaining bolts. Slide the factory stereo out. Remove the wiring harness and the antenna cable from the back of the factory stereo.
The factory alarm is part of the body computer programming and can not be removed.

go to walmart in the auto stereo section they sell the tools to pull out the factory stereo on ford .the 2 tools that are shaped like big (U) . one for each side of stereo
Take the rcas from the amp and connect it to the + and - posts on one of your speakers.
open your cup holder and on the top lip of opening there will be two screws, remove those then the center dash piece can just be popped off. then theres just four screws holding in the factory stereo.
you will probably have to take it to a Chevrolet dealer and have them unlock it
