My daughters 1999 had a problem with the power window. I removed all visible screw around panel, removed the window control panel by pressing in on the clips which are a part of the panel. Ascrew is located beneath this which needs to be removed. The door handle assembly on the inside has a screw and then the plastic assembly comes out with some keepers on the shaft which swing away and then the rod is lifted. At the bottom where the pocket is, there are 2 round serated panel holders up inside which need to be pried away from the body............Hope that this helps......howarddenton@hotmail.com

There are several philips-head screws to remove around the bottom and back, then it is mostly a matter of pulling firmly without breaking the (plastic) panel. To completely remove the panel, you will have to unscrew and remove the "pocket" in the armrest and the door-opening lever.Stocker @ http://www.rdtiburon.com/David @ http://votefordavid.blogspot.com

I just removed the door panel for my 2009 Elantra. (Instructions for driver door) First, look in bezel of door handle. Release cover for screw and remove screw. Look a little below at the door grip handle (or spare change holder if you will) and there is a cover for that screw too and remove that one also. Remove the triangle plastic cover that covers the wire harness to the side mirrors. I opened the door all the way and put my hand on the panel towards the front of the car where the door hinge is at. In my car, I felt a little outward edge of the panel. I slowly pulled it back and the panel started to come off. Don't try to take the whole panel out at once; you may break the plastic fasteners. I've not tried the rest of the door panels, but it might be the same.
A door panel on a Hyundai is secured with several screws. Loosen and remove and the screws then proceed to gently pull the panel outward. There are several clips for extra support. Pull the panel outward and the clips will come off as well.
