Buy a 3"long 3/4"x16 bolt and a 4"long 7/16"x20 socket head bolt at your local hardware store. Thread the 7/16"x20 socket head bolt into the crank until it stops with a 3/8" Allen key wrench. Now thread the 3/4x16 bolt into the clutch. Once it comes in contact with the socket head bolt you will have to hold the clutch from turning. Keep screwing the 3/4" until the clutch comes off the tapered press fit on the crank.
Could not be simpler or cheaper.
You need to buy a puller ,one for the drive clutch [ on the motor ] and one for the driven clutch .That drives the ATV ! I bought mine from Dennis kirk for 60.00. Take the bolts out of center & put the puller in & tighten puller, they should come off
take off the skid plate and there should onley be 3 bolts holding it in place and it slides right out and polaris had a recall on those
Take driving lessons, you fool
Take it to your mechanic. Pay $700-$1000. Drive away with new clutch.
It is best for the vehicle if you are at a complete stop, put the trailblazer in neutrail, turn the selection knob to your right to whichever setting you would like, wait for it to engage, then put it in drive and take off!
you have to take the primary and secondary clutch off of the machine and the other half of the plastic cover thats behind them.
Yes because you have to take the bolts out of the transmission and slide back enough to replace your clutch.
This is a big job. You have to take out the transmission. If it is 4 wheel drive it is an even bigger job. The clutch is between the engine and transmission.
Pull start it in a mid range gear. While pushing down on the clutch pedal stab the brakes. It may take a while so make sure you have room to drive. If that does not work you will have to split the tractor at the clutch housing.
if u have the belt cover witch will be were i began first u have to get the belt of witch is a easy task prop the belt up on to the secondary clutch pull the belt tords u and at the same time turn the primary clutch from the front to back now that the belt is of u need to get a clutch puller from a dealer u need 2 difrent ones one for the primary clutch and one for the secondary clutch take out the bolt in the center of each clutch insert the threaded puller in to the center of the cluth and turn it till the clutch comes of
