high side goes to condenser fan coil on roof low side is the evaporator si de the coil thathas a blower to blow cold air in your house on your init it should have l or hby vavles WATCH OUT high side has very high pressure when chargeing adding freon do it with low side can of freon is marked gas or liqued try to charge by gas liqued can be done but without experience you could hurt you unit

The high pressure fitting is the larger of the two. The adapters and fittings used to add refrigerant can only fit the low pressure side. I have a 2003 Silverado 2500HD and the low pressure port is just above the accumulator/ dryer on a line that attaches to the fire wall.
