Why would you want to do this? You cannot transfer the vehicle to her, have her purchase insurance and think this will save you money. Her rate will be higher due to her age anyway plus the application requires that all household residents and all drivers of the vehicle be listed on the policy. If you have an accident driving this vehicle I can assure you that the insurance company will deny the claim and the entire claim. If you hurt someone else and damage their vehicle you will be responsible for both as well as bringing in this older person into the matter also as she will be sued as well. The only way is to change the title over to her name. She could sell the car the next day to someone else. This sounds like the best idea to get you off the road anyway.
