On the side of your air filter closest to the front forks you will find a small knob about 3/4 of the way up. After your bike has warmed up adjust the idle to where you want it, if you have a tach around 800 -900 rpm. Without a tach adjust to the where it sounds good then check to see if there is any stalling problems or lag when accelerating under load. Adjust accordingly.

How do you remove the seat from a Kawasaki vulcan 900 motorcycyle?

You insert the ignition key into the left side panel and turn it til it clicks. You can then lift the seat up. If the key is difficult to turn, press down on the seat, and it should take the tension off of the seat mechanism. To reinstall the seat, slip the front of the seat tab into slot at end of the tank and push down to snap in place. Removing the seat can be a pain. Just take your time and you can do it.

Where is the hazard light switch on the Kawasaki vulcan?

Well if its a kawasaki vulcan 400 classic, you will find it on the left side- a small switch. Probably silver. You can leave it on and turn off the ignition, and have your lights off of a daytime which apparently for some motorcyles is not an option-ie. the hadlight stays on all the time. Obviously this costs battery power. Sometime the switch is inside a compartment with fuses in it. It should be fastened to the surface of this compartment so the switch is accessible. There is a hole in the compartment for the switch.

How do you check the starter solenoid relay on Kawasaki Vulcan 1500?

Short the two battery leads together, this will bypass the solenoid and should turn the starter. But this does not answer the question....it just lets you see if the starter works. How do you CHECK the solenoid to see if it is GOOD or BAD???
