If it is a remote for locking and unlocking doors; with doors all closed, turn ignition switch on and off 5 times within 10 seconds, then press one of the remote buttons within 10 seconds. A small red light will illuminate if remote is working.

User Avatar

You turn the key to the ll position or second click and press the remote pad to open the car. The central locking and indicators for the immobilizer should activate and that is the key programmed. Hope this helps.

With the vehicle door open start the engine. Press the valet button on the viper remote. One press is for alarm, two is trunk, three is remote start. After the system chirps, press the feature that you wish to program. Push valet to end programming, turn ignition off to complete the procedure.

I've heard that you put y The key in and turn ignition on but not start, wait 10 mins, the horn will honk, within 5mins turn the key of then, back to on, wait 10 mins, horn will honk, turn off then, turn key to on, wait 10 mins, horn will honk, turn key off. Security light should go out and you should be able to start your car, also after starting, check for functions on remote key. Do not wait a long intervals when starting these procedure I.e.. After horn honks , immediately turn key off, wait just a couple seconds, then turn key back to on position. Good luck!

you have to turn it on by remote

The foam rubber in the horn pad in the center of the steering wheel is discentergrated -(bad even) some times U can just slip a small piece under the pad instead of buying the whole thing. The contact for the horn is located in the steering column, just above the turn signal controls. It is likely that one of the contact wires for the horn has broken off and makes contact with either the steering column or the locking plate when you turn the wheel.

Supposing you have a remote to control the light, the remote for the light and the remote for the TV are probably on the same frequency.

There really is only one way to turn off the air horn in a truck. You need to disconnect the horn.

Using the remote is like having two switches in series. Both switches have to be on at the same time. Do not use the remote to turn off the fan when you want to turn the fan off with the wall switch.

the 98 tc manual says: 1. turn ignition on 2. press door unlock 3 times 3. turn ignition off 4. press unlock 3 times 5. turn ignition on. doors should lock and unlock 6. with ignition still on press unlock. If horn chirps you have toggled autolock feature.

The wiring for the horn goes from the horn to the relay then to a box located unde the dash which in turn connects to your horn pad on the wheel in the car

User Avatar

Basically, a "relay" is a switch. When you push the horn button you're triggering the relay which in turn feeds power to the horn.
