Lay down in front of the Mark and reach up through the vent holes in the bottom of the bumper cover. You can reach the hood catch from here and release it.
Then change the battery.
Check to make sure nothing was on during the night and if not then your battery is weak (your cells in the battery) are weak...get a new battery.
The key for the door must be put in the door and unlock it. On my Lincoln the driver side lock is messed up so i lock the passenger side door and use the key to unlock it and the alarm goes off. If it does not stop disconect the battery.
Probably the alternater
Try pressing the lock and unlock button together until you hear the horn beep once and that should work.
Either the key pad on the drivers' door, the remote, or use the key.
Unbolt the hold down rod and disconnect the cables.
Ground it to the vehicle frame or engine.
Disconnect the battery for about 1/2 an hour and re connect.
Disconnect the battery for about a half an hour then re connect.
you dont. its automatic. or, you just connect the battery cables to their corresponding posts.
Disconnect the battery for about 1/2 hour and then re-connect
Check your battery. And have your alternator checked. Most auto parts stores will do it for free.
