How do you use the key to get into a Hyundai tiburon if you have lost the remote when we get in the alarm immediately goes off and the car will not start.?

Get in the car and shut the door, DO NOT lock the door. The alarm will be going off at this piont. Wait for the alarm to stop. Put the key in and turn it to the ON position, the alarm will activate again, wait for it to stop. When all is silent for a few moments turn the key to off, take it out and wait for the safety beep. After of which, put the key back in, turn the key to on and wait for the 3 beeps and start the car. This worked for my 2003 Hyundai Tiburon and it may work for yours as well.
All i did on my 03 Tiburon GT was turn key to "on" while alarm was going off waited 30 seconds and started it right up
Make sure you are using the original key as well, my tiburon key has a chip in it that works with the alarm, if you are using a duplicate that doesn't have the chip that also could be your problem.

This work only with existing remote. If you replace with new one you need to reprogram it. Put key in middle position and press once quick unlock. Wait several seconds until alarm light flesh. Now your remote is ready.

I just disarmed my 2001 sante fe. Heres how I did it. Unlocking my vehicle of course set the alarm off. I inserted my key into the ignition and switched to the "on" position. I then waited 30 seconds and was then able to start the engine and the alarm was disababled. This also worked on my 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe!
