Once undone, the headlight fascia tilt forward and come away - taking care not to damage the tabs at the bottom which sit in the slots of the surround.
With the headlight fascia removed, you can then remove the 4 flanged Phillips head screws which hold the grill faceplate on. Once those screws are removed, the grill faceplate will also tilt forward.
Tilt it forward and lift vertically.
Installation is done in reverse, grill face plate first.

Then pull the next rubber mat up enough to get to the 3 torx screws, These are what holds the shifter in. MAKE SURE THE VEHICAL IS IN NEUTRAL. Remove the screws and lift the shifter out. 1) Have you tried taking the front dash off and checking the install underneath? I know my comes off easily (6 screws) and then the stereo was mounted with a few screws under that. 2) If you do successfully remove the stereo and it still works I may be interested in taking it off your hands :)

It is located directly on the firewall behind the glove box. It is easier to remove with less chance of damaging the ecm holder if you remove the screws on the front of the glove box, the screw holding the glove box retaining cable, and the bottom screws holding up the bottom cover just below the glove box. This will be easy since all of the screws are 7mm screws. The screws that hold the pins onto the ecm are also 7mm. You will then remove the ecm from the bottom but by taking the glove box out you can actually see what you are doing.
