As far as I know, you would start with a BS from a university either with a degree in zoology, or as I did Biology with emphasis in zoology. Then you could go on to study further and get a masters or even doctorate in zoology. I don't believe there is anything like a zoology license, you just need to get educated and get a degree in the field of zoology. You would probably also want to get some work experience or volunteer working with a zoologist. You may want to contact someone who works at a wildlife park or zoo and find out what their education is. You could also look at any well known university's catalog and find out what degrees they offer.
I believe that's not possible. A zoologist needs to learn a variety of information, so you WILL have to get a degree in college in order to become one.

A person who is an expert on animal life is a scientist called a zoologist. A zoologist studies everything about animals, from what they eat, how they interact with each other and their environment, how they play and rear their young, to their cellular makeup and even their history in the fossil record. If you love animals and are fascinated by them, you could decide to become a zoologist.
