The earth isn't perfectly straight up and down. It leans on an axis. So in the Northern Hemisphere between May-August tilts towards the sun and the Southern Hemisphere tilts away from the sun. This causes summer in the Northern Hemisphere because being closer to the sun helps to increase the temperature on Earth and the southern hemisphere experieces winter due to being farther from the sun. The opposite is true for winter in the Northern Hemisphere and Summer in the Southern Hemisphere.
No. It's dark in winter and light in summer.
yes they have a thick fur for winter and a light one for summer
In the winter it's cold and you need energy to keep you warm and in the summer it's hot you don't need energy you let out energy when you sweat etc.
Well if i knew tht we would all be happy -er lol.bii freaks y do u wanna know this question anway. :p
You need to rephrase your question. It's not dark at midday in the winter, unless you happen to be in polar regions! You mean why is the daylength less in winter than summer. It's because the Earth is cocked over slightly compared with its route around the Sun. So in winter, it leans away from the Sun so gets less light than in summer.
The brightness of stars in the winter sky compared to the summer sky can vary, but generally, the stars visible in winter are not inherently dimmer. Instead, winter skies often feature brighter constellations, such as Orion and Taurus, which can make the winter sky appear more vibrant. Additionally, atmospheric conditions and light pollution can affect visibility, but the stars themselves do not change brightness seasonally.
Cotton is a summer season crop. If planted in winter its growth will be limited by lower temperature and light intensity.
Egg production will drop based on the hours of light the chicken receives. For optimum performance, a hen needs at least 14 hours of light per day either natural or artificial. In the winter, keep a light on in the chicken coop to make up the difference between natural summer light and natural winter light.
24 hours in summer, in winter no sun at all
If you buy a winter white (or siberian) dwarf hamster during the winter, it is white with a light gray stripe on its back. The color of a winter white dwarf hamster's coat depends on your hamster. You have to wait until spring or summer to see. :)
You can feel the difference more in winter than summer because winter has less sun light than summer
When I change my summer wheels to winter hweels , the light went on. When I put back the summer wheels the system must of detected the sensors angain and the light went off. You might have a malfuction in one of the sensors. If you install a new sensor , it must be re-programed into you main computer.I have sensors on both my winter wheels and summer wheels.Everytime I change wheels , I must re-program the sensors.HONDA can do this for a price. The machine to calibrate the sensors is very expensive and not all repair shops have it. Hope this helps Ralph
