Two years out you enter the 'Bravo Zone' and you can begin talking to a retention officer. Your options open up even further when you enter the 'Alpha Zone', which is one year away from your ETS date.
Wait two more days, and then you can.
If they ETS from the Marines and then reenlist into the Army. They won't be assigned to an Army Ranger unit from the Marine Corps.
When your enlistment window opens up (IIRC, it's something like 90 days from your ETS date), you will be sent to speak with your unit's Retention NCO. If your chain of command doesn't do this automatically, then you bring the issue up with them. The retention NCO will guide you from that point.

9G | Grade (Soldier is within 16 months of ETS and cannot reenlist for minimum term/exceeds RCP for Current Grade)Note that you can, with approval, extend up to your RCP, which may give enough time to get promoted. Which may change your RCP enough for you to reenlist.
Yes. A meb will hold you past your ets date if you so choose to go through with a meb and not get out on your ets date. Your peblo will direct you to your battalion and have your enlistment office enter an extension code on your erb about 12 months past the date you started your meb. It will keep you active duty until the meb is complete. If the meb completes befor the date set on your erb thin you will not be held to the date of your erb only until the completion of the meb. Hope this helped you.
Most service members keep their military ID after they are discharged, especially as most take terminal leave before their ETS date, and are still in the military during this time. However, they have an expiration date. The only way you'll be able to keep a maintain a current DoD identification card is to either reenlist, join a reserve component, become a civilian employee of the DoD, or marry someone in the military, and get a dependent's ID.
