at least 80 mph
They made the Jeep Wrangler for many years and with many different drive lines. Be more specific and include more info in your question.
According to the speedometer, 100 miles per hour, but it is not advisable.
I think it's limited by a Governor. Probably speedo top speed-105.
The fastest i have got mine is around 95mph it would go faster but its not arodynamic at all.
Grand Cherokee and Wrangler are the top 2 jeeps. Superior off roading capability. Great in the snow. The new Grand Cherokee with the 5.7Hemi engine has a high tow/haul rating and is quite fast for a heavy SUV.
jeeps are not meant for speed. but they will go as fast as any other normal suv. they just do not feel as safe at really high speeds like 85
I own a 97 Jeep wrangler, and I love it. It is an all around awesome vehicle. First, wranglers are just cool. there is just something about seeing a rugged looking 4X4 cruising down the road with the top and doors off. Another great thing is the wranglers off road capability. If you like the idea of being able to go where there are no real roads, a Jeep wrangler is your style. I could go on and on about the pros, so let me try to think of a downside. The only thing that comes to mind is limited storage space. there is not a lot of room in the wrangler. Ultimately it depends on what you are looking for. A jeep wrangler is not a luxury sports car, so obviously it is not extremely comfortable or very fast. but if that is not what you are looking for, and you want a sweet looking, rugged, capable vehicle, take a good look at the Jeep Wrangler.
One of your turning signal or side marker bulbs are burnt out. Whichever side blinks fast - that's the side that has the burnt bulb. I just had the same problem and after I replaced the burnt bulb the fast blinking went back to normal.
Look for a vacuum leak, listen for a sucking sound in the engine compartment, or any loose or cracked hose.
In 4wd I try not to go over 50-55 mph. That setting is meant for muddy, icy, or wet conditions so you wouldn't want to go much faster than that anyways.
There is no governor on a wrangler, though in the computer there may be a rev limiter, the only way to disable this would be to have the computer re-programmed or a chip installed. At this time I don't know of any who supply a chip set, or re-programm jeep computers. On a side note, altering the computer to get more speed is unwise in a jeep due to the inherent handling characteristics. If you want fast, don't buy a jeep. From experience, there *is* a governor in the ECM and possibly a rev limiter too. During a closed-stage rally on a long down-hill straight stretch the engine cut out at 140kph (87mph), but the revs were under 3000 RPM, much less than what I sometimes do in lower gears while accelerating, so I know it was a speed limitation, not a revs limitation. The rest of the original answer is bang-on, it is a modernized farm tractor, not a sports car... still loads of fun though!
Depends on where you ride and your definition of fast, 60 on asphalt is not that fast, however 60 on a jeep road in the woods is plenty fast.
