depends on what is wrong. If it is the gas filled hatch struts then they are easy. They eventually go bad and cannot be rebuilt so you have to either buy new ones or go to a junkyard. Place some masking tape above the bottom strut to protect the paint. Using a 10mm open end wrench, you unscrew the bottom mount while supporting the hatch by either using an assistant or a piece of wood to hold it up. Pull the strut up away from the car body, then in and down. Then disconnect the strut from the hatch. Twist it from side to side while pulling it away from the pivot. Connect the top of the new strut. Lightly coat the pivot with white lithium grease, and wipe away any excess. Push the socket firmly into the pivot. Using a 10 mm wrench, install the lower mount.
left rear quarter panel lift the hatch and you will find it
it probably means that your back (rear) hatch is open. rear window defogger
Break it open, then fix it...silly.... :P
Yes. It is a direct fit. Nissan didn't change the rear hatch and they are interchangeable. 1984-86 won't have the third brake light. 1987-1989 will and you'll have to wire that in if you want it to be operable.
I have the same question for a 1995 Jeep hatch - not much help other than to validate the question.
It is located in under the rear hatch on the drivers side. you will see a clear plastic lid and that is where you fill it up at. In 1994 they moved it to the front, but on your 91 its in the rear. To remove the rear hatch door panel in order to fix the lock on a Subaru Outback you will need a Phillips-head screwdriver, small flat screwdriver, trim pry tool, and tack puller. Using these items you need to remove the push clips and pry the trim from the hatch.
In the hatch or behind seats
The rear hatch can be replaced by another hatch from an 82 to 92 firebird or camaro.
May be a BCM glitch or the rear trunk latch there is a recall from gm about the rear hatch latch
You can not open the rear hatch door from the inside.
The vacuum modulator on a 300zx should be located on the rear of the engine. It is on the passenger side at the top, close to the firewall.
