The most important would be mass media and modern electronic media.

Mass, traditional media (newspapers, TV, radio) has helped inform the population, even if most of the time media corporations tend to lack a critical view of current events. For example, most news keep track of the Mexican war on drugs, while very few dare to say why is Mexico fighting such war, or if any alternatives exist.

Also mass media is the reason most Latin American people tend to be quite numb regarding important political and social events. After all, telenovelas (soap operas) come from, and were popularized by Mexican TV and then "exported" to other Latin American countries. It is a fact that in Latin America, more people know who is El Chapulin Colorado (spoofed by The Simpsons' Bumblebee Man) than the current president of Mexico - even in Mexico.

Now, on the modern electronic media. Modern, Internet-based social platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter have helped democratize all countries around the world, even if this is an indirect result of public forums where points of view can be discussed freely, anonymously and shared with millions of people at the same time. This is the reason more "conservative" countries like China, Iran and North Korea are banning or actively monitoring them.

One particular - and probably hilarious - instance in Mexico is the Lady Profeco case. On April 26, 2013, Andrea, the youngest daughter of Humberto Benitez, head of the Office of the Federal Consumer Protection Office (PROFECO, for short) arrived at a restaurant known as "Maximo Bistrot", in Mexico City. It was full and she didn't have any reservation. The hostess asked her to wait; after a while one table was available, but was given to some guests who arrived earlier that afternoon. The girl made a tantrum: she demanded to be given that table, threatening the manager with the argument that his dad was the Prosecutor (for the Consumer). A couple of hours after the incident, three officers from PROFECO closed-down the establishment, for alleged irregularities in the reservation system and the mezcal sold there.

This would have ended as another case of corruption and abuse of power if not by the fact that other guests had recorded Andrea's tantrum and uploaded it on Twitter on the hash tag #ladyprofeco. It caused uproar among the population, and even the Mexican president became involved, firing her father and other four officers.

How has the culture of Mexican-American's influenced our Culture?

Spanish culture, has influenced a handfull of countries in the world. It has influenced the culture of both North and South America, Asia (Philippines) and a few African countries. The Spanish culture, that is found in America is the Tex-Mex cuisine. Tex-Mex, is simply a short word for Mexican-American culture. For this is, cuisine and culture that you'll find in Texas, but not the actual interior of Mexico. This dates way back, to when Spain owned Texas and Mexico, and then Mexico declared independance from Spain. Then Texas declared independance from Mexico, all before becoming an American state. A lot of the common foods, seen as Mexican by the American public are all Tex-Mex food. Such foods include beef fajitas on flour tortillas. Flour tortillas itself, isn't found in Mexico. Mexicans, don't use flour tortillas they use corn tortillas. Also, beef tacos is Tex-Mex, real Mexican tacos are made with chicken and corn tortillas as opposed to the ground beef and flour tortilla tacos. Chili corn carne, is another typical Tex-Mex dish. Burritos and nachos, are also Tex-Mex foods. Also, pinatas are part of every birthday part celebrations in America. Pinatas, originated from Mexico. They are so popular in America that half of the people who do pinatas on parties, don't even know the origin which is Mexico. Half of the people who do pinatas are non-Mexicans and non-Hispanic. Even Chinese, Koreans and other non-Mexican and non-Hispanic ethnicities do pinatas. Soccer, is a very popular extracurricular. Soccer, is one of the most common activities kids love to do. Not just in Spain or Mexico, but in America as well. America, is actually the only country to call it "soccer". Everyone else calls it "football", or "futbol" in case of Spanish.

Who has more culture Mexico or the US?

Mexico has had a cultural identity since some 3,000 years ago, including the arts, crafts and history of the ancient Aztec, Mayan, Teotihuacan and Olmec civilizations. This of course has been influenced by many events, including the conquest of Mexico by the Spanish during the 16th century and its independence, in 1821.On the other hand, the 'American culture' is a mix of the culture and traditions of many immigrants that have reached North America since the Mayflower arrived to Cape Cod (Massachusetts) in 1620. If you take into account that there was no 'American' identity until 1776 when the United States were born, then you have it: Mexico has more culture than the US, at least from the time-line point of view.

Which culture groups influenced Mexicans culture?

Mexican culture, is comprised of European Spanish and indegenous cultures. However, the Spanish culture in Mexico is twisted to make it uniquelly Mexican. The culture of Mexico differs from that of Spain. Tacos for example, are an indegenous Central American-Indian cusine, not a Spanish cuisine. For the indegenous people in not only Mexico, but also Guatemala, Bolivia, Belize (non-Spanish speaking) all make tortilla-based food. Some Spanish in Mexico also uses native Indian words, not those from Castilian (European Spanish).
