Depending on the age of the snake - anywhere from five to twelve days.
A snake will shed. It may take longer for some than others. Normally it only takes 3 days after their eyes shed, but some could take a few weeks. Also, seeing as their skin is air-tight and encased, there is no way for it to become infected. If a tear is made in their old skin, their new skin will not become infected either unless you have it in conditions it should not be in.
A long time.
Be patient. It can sometimes take up to a week after the skin has cleared before the snake sheds.
A lot of factors determine how often a snake sheds like: injuries, illnesses, rapid growth, feeding frequency, and so on. I have found that my snakes usually shed every 1-3 months, but I've had them go as long as 9 months without a shed or go into another shed cycle as quickly as 1 week later. It definitely depends on a lot of factors.
No snake skin purses are not made from the shedding of a snake simply because it is to weak snake skin purses are made from the actual skin of the snake wether they kill the snake to get the skin or if they just go out and find a dead snake and take the skin off but anyways snake skin purses are make from the skin
We do shed our skin. When we rub ourselves or take a shower. Have you ever peeled your skin and saw more skin? That's your baby skin. The skin you see is dead skin.

Anywhere from 100- 250 depending on the species ! Take an average Boa constrictor... newly-hatched specimens may shed every six weeks - that's eight times in its first year alone. They live an average of 40 years - so you can 'guestimate' around 200 sheds over its lifetime.
hatchlings and ones in between adult and hatchling shed about every month and adults shed about every six months. P.S. Your snake will not eat for about two weeks, will start to look sick, and they will start to turn somewhat gray and their eyes will look almost completely gray when shedding.
