There are several factors that can alter the time to bake an apple pie. Some are, types of apples used, how much water is in the apples, The oven temperature, the oven itself like where are the hot spots if any in the oven and location of the pie. Temperature will have an effect as well as the size of the pie.

My best guess is either a) it didn't bake long enough or b) not enough eggs. A traditional pumpkin pie is really a thick custard made with eggs, milk or cream (or evaporated milk), sugar, pumpkin and spices. The mixture thickens when the egg protein is heated until it becomes a solid. Without the eggs, or without cooking long enough, it will be liquid. _______________________________________________________________________ Probably because it didn't bake long enough. If that's the case, just pop it in the oven for 5 more minutes and see how it comes out.
