the time it took for the twin towers to fall wasnt't long. The south tower collasped at 9:59 a.m less than an hour after being hijacked and the north tower collasped at 10:28 a.m and the world trade center collasped at 5;21 p.m later that day after fires had started in the north tower

Construction on both towers began in 1966, Tower 1 was completed in 1972 and Tower 2 was completed in 1973, they both fell on 11th September 2001.
