Any vehicle's life span will vary greatly due to driving habits, exterior conditions, maintenance, etc.; so its hard to say specifically how long one will last. I've got a 1990 Ford Ranger XLT (2.9L V6 with the A4LD Transmission) that's still running. It just rolled over 100,000 miles yesterday. And that's after the previous owner using it for nothing but heavy towing and two at least two decent accidents. Most of the original equipment still runs fine on the truck, except for the A/C and the trans shifts hard. But, so long as you're willing to put some research into it and some elbow grease, then a Ford Ranger should last you for many years and over 200,000 miles. A few of the people I work with have Rangers from 1989, 1992, 1994, 1997, and 2004 and all are still operating on their original equipment and running strong. You just have to be willing to get greasy every now and then to keep everything maintained.
Last year of production for the Ford Ranger with the flareside bed was 2004.
As long as it's not a full sized ranger, yes.
I believe 1996 was the last year Ford produced the 2.3 L - 5 speed manual transmission - 4X4 Ranger
as long as it is the same size motor it should
117.4 inches ( 1998 Ford Ranger , regular cab , long wheelbase ) according to the owners manual
It`s a Ford.
Yes, they should swap out. As long as the cab style is the same, then the 1983-1987 Ford ranger doors will fit a 1984 Ranger.
I have a '93 Ford Explorer and it hold 19 gallons From the Chilton Ford Ranger guide: "1993 Ranger with standard wheelbase: 16.3 1993 Ranger with long wheelbase: 19.6"
On the 2.3 litre Dual Over Head Cam four cylinder engine in a Ford Ranger : Ford started using that engine in the Ford Ranger during the 2001 model year
Yes , I BELIEVE the last year for a speedometer cable on a Ford Explorer was the 1995 model year so the 1991 Ford Ranger would definitely have a speedometer cable
can you use a transmission from a 1993 ford ranger in a 2000 ford ranger?
Yes it will as long as it is not a long bed and it is a under the rail liner. over rail will fit but badly. rails in 1993 were changed to be wider and tapered.
