According to 'The Times' March 8th 2008 and the scientists they reference, almost no birds or marine animals die from causes related to plastic bags. Apparently the wide spread idea originates from a misinterpretation of a 1987 Canadian study that found that FISHING GEAR, especially discarded nets, had killed over 100, 000 marine mammals over 3 years. An Australian study misquoted this as animals killed by plastic bags.
About 60 to 100 million barrels of oil are required every year for plastic bags. Plastic bags are killing over 100,000 sea turtles and other marine animals because animals are mistaken them for food. The plastic bags are horrible for our environment it causes pollution, which isn't good for humans or animals, well for anything!
Around 73 animals get tested on a day
plastic bottles, plastic is every where!
It's different for every kind of plastic and every color of it.
They had people coming around and killing animals every day
Australia produces around 7 473 084 kg of plastic a year. I hope all those greenies out knows this
Yes Australia does have more animals than Africa because they have animals running around nearly every place in Australia
No why would you think that? Very few of them have every had plastic surgery.
More than 25 billion metric tons a year
About 22 animals die every second in testing labs around the world each second. So 22 x 32,536,000(seconds in a calendar year) = 693,792,000 animals die every year.
Since plastic is a good material people buy and use every day I say bout a good 30.000 plastic cups are used every hour
You polute every thing every where
