If the train is at the front, it pulls. If it is at the back, it pushes. Typically trains pull there cargo
no because they did't have any animals to carry such things as carridges and plus the didn't have any wheeled veichles only on little children pull toys because they took allot of pride in their stength they thought i t was lazy
